MODO Fest

Intro
Modo Fest is a motion design festival concept focused on contemporary audiovisual experimentation. The project translates motion into visible frames, using transparency, gradients, and layered textures to recreate motion blur and transformation. This creates a dynamic visual system of shifting geometric forms that reflects the fluid and experimental nature of the festival. The project combines visual identity, UI design, and motion design to build a cohesive festival experience across digital and physical platforms. The visual system was developed around the idea of movement as a graphic language, creating a flexible identity that adapts seamlessly across interfaces, environmental graphics, and promotional materials. The digital experience includes the design of a responsive event website and a mobile application, both focused on clarity, accessibility, and content discovery. Through carefully structured information architecture, interactive programme browsing, personalised scheduling features, and an experimental Motion Wall experience, the interfaces extend the festival's visual language into engaging user interactions. The identity was further expanded through motion principles, interface animations, posters, and accreditation design, creating a consistent ecosystem where branding and user experience work together to express the experimental and evolving nature of contemporary motion design.
